View your invoices in the Sales tab
When you visit the Sales tab in Kitomba 1, you’ll be able to view and manage your invoices in one place, including looking up past dates and searching by customer name or invoice number.
For Kitomba Enterprise customers, there is a location selector in the Sales tab where you will be able to select the location you wish to view invoices for.
Kitomba 1 Access Levels
- To have full access to the Sales tab, staff will need to be allowed to “Prepare sales”, “Complete sales” and “View completed invoices”, under the ‘Sales’ section of user permissions.
- Staff that are only allowed to “Prepare sales” and “Complete sales” will be able to see the Sales tab and create invoices, but won’t be able to view invoices afterwards.
To create a walk-in sale in the Sales tab
1. Log into Kitomba 1 and select the Sales tab.
2. Select the green Make Sale button.
3. Select whether you are selling to a Casual customer, a New customer or an Existing customer. Start typing the name of the service or product, or the scan barcode into the search field and select the items. You can add a discount/surcharge and adjust the quantity and pricing.
4. Select the staff member to credit the sale to, then select Take Payment.
5. Select the payment method and then Complete Sale.
6. You will be taken to the Payment complete screen. You can choose to send the receipt to the client via email, print the invoice or view the invoice.
To create a walk-in sale from the Appointment Book.
1. Log into Kitomba 1 and select the Appointments tab.
2. Select the green Add button at the top left of the calendar.
3. Select New walk-in sale.
4. Select whether you are selling to a Casual customer, a New customer or an Existing customer. Start typing the name of the service or product, or the scan barcode into the search field and select the items. You can add a discount/surcharge and adjust the quantity and pricing.
5. Select the staff member to credit the sale to, then select Take Payment.
6. Select the payment method and then Complete Sale.
7. You will be taken to the Payment complete screen. You can choose to send the receipt to the client via email, print the invoice or view the invoice.
Please note:
- Kitomba 1 Point-of-Sale can complete sales paid by cash, card, vouchers and other custom payment types. It does not currently support payment by concessions, account credit or loyalty dollars.
- To sell vouchers and concessions, please use your main Kitomba as these cannot be added to sales in Kitomba 1.
- If you use loyalty in your business, your clients will still earn loyalty dollars on sales processed in Kitomba 1.
