Sometimes in your database, you find duplicate entries for clients - when one client manages to collect two separate records but has the same contact details. If you notice a duplicate client card you can merge the cards in Kitomba.
Note: You cannot "undo" a merge.
Note: You cannot Merge client details in K1.
Before merging, check to see if either of the cards has a registration for Online booking - if so, there will be a green W icon as shown below.
The card with the green W icon is always the card to which any duplicate(s) should be merged - otherwise the client will be unable to log into Online Booking:
Look for the duplicate card that has the grey W icon struck out with a red line...
...and click the Merge button. (If neither card has an Online Booking registration choose the card you wish to not keep and then click the Merge button.)
You will get a merge message pop up.
This will provide pop up client screen where you select the client you want to merge with.
Once you have selected the client and are sure you want to merge these two together select the Merge Now button on the bottom right of the pop up screen.
