Stocktakes can be created from the Stocktakes tab or the Products tab, allowing you to choose the internal process that works best for you and your team.
Three ways to create a stocktake:
- A filtered product list in the Stocktakes tab
- A manual search in the Stocktakes tab
- Using filters from your product list
To stocktake a product category
This is the recommended option when stocktaking a large quantity of products.
1. Log into Kitomba 1 and select the Manage tab, then select Stocktakes.
2. Select the + Stocktake button.
3. If you are on an enterprise package, first select the location you want to create the stocktake.
4. Select whether you want to filter by retail products, professional products or both.
5. Select the category or categories you want to adjust.
6. The list of products will be populated as a stocktake. Enter the amount you have of each product in the On hand column.
7. Enter a reference and/or comment if required, then select the Save button.
8. Your stocktake will appear in the list on the Stocktakes home screen, displaying the categories included and the total difference in cost price from what was expected.
To stocktake products manually
1. Select the +Stocktake button.
2. Select the Manual search button then select Next.
3. Enter the product name into the search bar and then select it.
4. Enter the amount you have in the On hand column and select Save.
5. You will see your stocktake appear in the list on the Stocktakes home screen.
To create a stocktake from your product list
Please note: If you are an enterprise customer, you will be unable to create a stocktake from the product list and will need to use the Stocktakes tab.
1. Select the Products tab.
2. Use the product filters on the left to generate a list of products you want to stocktake. In this example, we are going to use the category filter and select the Fudge category.
3. Select the checkbox at the top of the list to select all products and then select the Stocktake button.
4. Enter the amount you have in the On hand column and select Save.
5. You will see the stocktake appear in the list on the Stocktakes home screen.
