This guide will take you through how to check out stock for internal use in Kitomba 1.
It's important to let Kitomba know when professional products are used in-store. By checking out stock for internal use, Kitomba can include these items in your next automatic order, helping to keep your stock levels accurate and up to date.
To check out stock
1. Select the Manage tab and then Products.
2. Select the Internal use tab.
3. Select the + Internal use button.
4. Enter the product name into the search field or scan the barcode of the product if using a barcode scanner.
5. Adjust the quantity to reflect the amount of the product you are checking out.
6. Change the Checked out by drop down to the staff member that is checking out the products.
7. When you're finished, select the Save button.
7. The internal use checkout will appear on the main screen, and your stock levels will be automatically updated to reflect the change.
Who can check out stock?
The ability to check out stock requires the “Manage Products and Services” and “Manage Stocktakes and Supplier Orders” permissions to be enabled. You can easily enable this for other access levels by checking the box for those levels.
