Edit and delete a Product Category in Kitomba 1

The Kitomba 1 Products tab can be accessed anywhere on any device. It lets you easily edit your categories on the go, freeing up your front desk.

Having well-organised categories ensures accurate reporting, allows you to send targeted marketing campaigns based on client purchase history, and saves you time when stock-taking.

To edit the location of a category

1. Log into Kitomba 1 and select the Manage tab, then Products.

2. Select the Categories button.

3. Click and drag the category you want to move.

4. Let go of the mouse to drop it into another category.

5. Select the Save button.

To edit the name of a category

1. Select the Categories button.

2. Hover your mouse over the category you want to rename and select the Edit button.

3. Enter the new category name.

4. Select the Save button.

To delete a category

1. Select the Categories button.

2. Hover your mouse over the category you want to delete and select the Delete button.

3. Select the Save button.

Please note: You cannot delete categories that contain existing products. You will need to search for those products and change the category.
