Your business has different roles—owners, managers, staff, and even accountants—and Kitomba 1 offers a variety of access levels to match.
This lets you give each person the access they need, while keeping your data secure.
Invite a unique user to Kitomba 1
You can add unique users who don’t need an appointment book column—like your accountant or graphic designer—so they can still access Kitomba 1 as needed.
1. Select the Settings tab and select Staff & users.
You should then see a list of Kitomba 1 users and staff that have been added to Kitomba 1, indicated under Type. In some cases, they may have both Staff and K1 user against their name.
2. Select the green Add new button.
3. Complete the fields in the Personal info section.
If this person does not require a column in the appointment book (i.e. they are an accountant or graphic designer), select No where it says Is a staff member to remove the Staff settings section.
4. To allow access to Kitomba 1, enter the staff member’s email address and select their level of access. If you have multiple locations, select whether to give access to all or specific locations only.
5. Select the Save button. Once saved, an email will be sent to the provided email address, and the staff member will be able to set up their own password.
Sometimes these emails end up in the Junk/Spam folder. If the invite email is not received after a few minutes, ask them to check there.
Customise Kitomba 1 access levels
Kitomba 1 access levels can be customised to suit your business needs. You can customise each access level by selecting the checkbox next to the permission for each access level.
Note: There must be at least one user per business with Admin access.
1. Select the Settings tab.
2. Select Staff & users and then Kitomba 1 access levels.
3. Check the boxes for each access level that should have permission to perform the action. Take your time to read through the permissions in each section as some are actions that cannot be undone.
4. Select Save changes at the top.
That’s an overview of how to invite users to Kitomba 1 and edit permissions for access levels. View our support guides to learn more or get in touch with us.
