PIN access makes it quick and easy for staff to log in and out of Kitomba 1 without needing to enter usernames and passwords or use shared logins—perfect for busy salons using K1 at the front desk.
Logging in to Kitomba 1
1. When PIN access is enabled, the lock screen will be displayed when the computer isn’t in use.

2. To log in to Kitomba 1, select your name from the staff list. By default, it shows you the staff that are working today on the calendar; however, you can always switch to view all staff if you don’t see your name.
3. Once you have selected your name, enter your 4-digit PIN to log in.
Logging out of Kitomba 1
Once you have finished using the system, you can click the Lock button at the top right.
Recommendation: We recommend getting into the habit of locking it once you are finished. This ensures no one can try to use the system under your login, ensuring that security log reports stay accurate to which staff member has performed an action.
If you forget to log out manually, don’t worry! Kitomba 1 will automatically lock after a period of inactivity, keeping your account secure. You can customise the timeout period to suit your business, just head to your business settings to change it.
Resetting your PIN
1. If you forget your PIN, you can reset it by clicking Forgot PIN.
2. Enter your mobile number and click Reset PIN.
3. Check your phone for a text with a link to create a new PIN.
