Selling vouchers in Kitomba 1 can help your business boost cash flow by securing upfront payments for future purchases and attract new clients who might not have otherwise made a purchase.
Vouchers can be sold from a walk-in invoice in both the Appointment Book and the Sales tab, or when invoicing an appointment, making it effortless to sell a voucher when checking out a client.
Vouchers sold in Kitomba 1 must have a tracking number. If you have numbers printed on your vouchers, they could be used as tracking numbers.
Sell a voucher from:
To sell a Voucher from a walk-in invoice on the Appointment Book
1. Log into Kitomba 1 and select the Appointments tab.
2. Select the Add new button on the left side panel.
3. Select New walk-in invoice.
4. Select whether you are selling to a casual, new or existing customer.
5. Select the Add voucher button, or type Voucher in the search bar.
6. Enter the voucher details and then select the Add voucher button:
- Voucher number (required to redeem the voucher and track transactions)
- Expiry date (a default expiry date can be set in your local Kitomba)
- Recipient’s first name
- Recipient’s last name
- Voucher value (the amount the recipient can redeem)
- Notes
7. You will see the voucher now appear on the invoice. Select a sales person, then the Take payment button.
8. Enter the payment details, then select Complete sale.
To sell a Voucher from an appointment sale
1. Select the appointment ready to be invoiced.
2. Select the Make sale button on the left side panel.
3. Select the Add voucher button, or type Voucher into the search bar.
4. Enter the voucher details and select the Add voucher button:
- Voucher number (required to redeem the voucher and track transactions)
- Expiry date
- Recipient’s first name
- Recipient’s last name
- Voucher value (the amount the recipient can redeem)
- Notes
5. You will see the voucher now appear on the invoice. Select the sales person, then the Take payment button.
6. Enter the payment details, then select Complete sale.
To sell a Voucher from the Sales tab
1. Select the Sales tab.
2. Select the blue Make sale button on the right.
3. Select whether you are selling to a casual, new or existing customer.
4. Select the Add voucher button, or type Voucher into the search bar.
5. Enter the voucher details then select the Add voucher button:
- Voucher number (required to redeem the voucher and track transactions)
- Expiry date
- Recipient’s first name
- Recipient’s last name
- Voucher value (the amount the recipient can redeem)
- Notes
6. You will see the voucher now appear on the invoice. Select a sales person, then the Take payment button.
7. Enter the payment details, then select Complete sale.
