If you ever need to adjust a refund that’s already been processed—like if the wrong payment type was entered or the wrong product or service was selected—you can easily make changes. Simply go to the Sales tab, where you can edit or delete the refund as needed.
Any edits or deletions of refunds will be recorded in the Security Log.
Who can edit and delete refunds?
The ability to edit and delete a refund shares the Kitomba 1 invoicing permission, which means any user with invoicing permissions will automatically have access. These permissions are as follows:
- Edit completed invoices and refunds (basic)
- Edit completed invoices and refunds (advanced)
- Delete completed invoices and refunds (same-day)
- Delete completed invoices and refunds (all)
Edit a refund

2. You can quickly find what you're looking for by searching for the client's name or the invoice number, if you have it.
3. Select the invoice number of the refund.
4. Select the Edit button.
5. Make the necessary changes. In this example, we’ll correct the product since the wrong one was chosen.
6. Select the Refund button.
7. Make changes to the payment if required, then select Save.
Delete a refund
1. Search and select the invoice number of the refund.
2. Select the Delete button.
