Concessions are a number of services offered at a discounted rate, designed to encourage clients to purchase more than they normally would in one visit. This increases cash flow, and enhances client loyalty and retention, as clients pay upfront, making them more likely to return to use the remaining visits.
To sell a concession
To be able to sell concessions, you will first need to create concessions on your services. View our support guide to learn how to do this.
1. Select the Appointments tab.
2. Select the appointment on the calendar.
3. Select the Make sale button on the left side panel.
4. Enter the service name and select the Sell concession button, then select the number of concessions the client is purchasing.
5. The service will be updated to the selected concession, and a redemption will be applied to the sale.
6. Select the staff member to credit the sale to, and then select the Take payment button.
7. Select the payment type for the concession purchase and select the Complete sale button. The Concession payment type will automatically be populated for the redemption.
Concessions can also be sold on walk-in invoices from the Appointments or Sales tab.
If you are an enterprise customer, concessions can be redeemed at any location regardless of where it was sold. To learn more about redeeming concessions, view our support guide.
