Fully Booked fills gaps in your appointment book by texting the right clients at the right time. And it keeps getting better!
As of 19 October 2026
Payments that match your online booking settings
Fully Booked can now follow the same payment settings as your online booking: a full deposit, a partial deposit, a card held for your cancellation policy, or no payment at all. Turn it on in your Fully Booked settings; there's just one place to manage your payment rules.
No payment step for last-minute gaps
When a gap opens up for an appointment starting within 24 hours, you can now let client's book without paying or entering a card. It's the moment you most want the gap filled, so we've removed the friction.
Clear notice that prices can change
The booking page now allows clients know the final price may change during consultation.
Clients in control of their messages
Clients can now turn "Accept smart booking suggestions" on or off in their online booking profile.
A smarter message schedule
Clients can receive up to 2 Fully Booked messages in 30 days, always at least 7 days apart, and the text message itself has been refreshed.
General performance enhancements and tweaks
Booking through a Fully Booked link is smoother and more reliable.
As of 12 October 2026
A separate preference for Fully Booked messages
Fully Booked now has its own client preference, "Accept smart booking suggestions", separate from your general marketing. You can see it on the client card in Kitomba 1. Any client who opted out during the beta stays opted out.
General performance enhancements and tweaks
Bookings made through a Fully Booked link are now correctly tracked when you take an online deposit, and clients are offered other times if the slot they were sent has already gone.
As of 29 September 2026
No messages to clients who are already booked
Clients with an upcoming appointment are no longer contacted.
Credit for every booking Fully Booked helps create
If a client books within 48 hours of receiving a Fully Booked message, whether online, by phone or in person, it now counts as a Fully Booked booking. Our terms and conditions on the settings page explain exactly which bookings are included.
General performance enhancements and tweaks
Your minimum notice setting is respected, messages held overnight by quiet hours won't arrive too late to be useful, and more gaps are matched to the right clients.
As of 27 September 2026
Tailored to your business
Fully Booked now works out how often your clients typically visit from your own data, rather than using one rule for every business, and skips clients who've visited recently.
As of 21 September 2026
More gaps filled
Fully Booked now finds free time before a staff member's first appointment and after their last.
See every message
Fully Booked texts now appear in the Messages tab on the client card.
Better alternative times
Alternatives only include staff who offer that service, and clients can easily switch back to the original time.
General performance enhancements and tweaks
We've prevented double bookings from the same link, stopped offering a slot back to the client who just cancelled it, and made Fully Booked faster and more reliable overall.
As of 8 September 2026
Fully Booked beta
Fully Booked opened to beta customers, texting the right clients to fill gaps from cancellations, no-shows and quiet spots in your appointment book, with a simple link to book and a dashboard showing the results.
