There is some information that you will want to make compulsory to collect about a Client in Kitomba
Setting required fields for the Client Card
1. Go to the Admin tab
2. Click on Preferences from the left hand side
3. Go to the Client Card tab within the preferences menu.
4. A list of pieces of information about your customers (attributes) will appear. Tick the box next to those attributes you want to make compulsory.
5. Click Save at the bottom right of the screen.
Checking required information when saving a Client Card
Next time you go to save a client card, if you don't enter the compulsory information, you will get a prompt message like this:
If you enter a piece of information in the wrong format, Kitomba will warn you. For example, entering @kingkong.com gives you this message because there is no information in front of the @ sign, so it's in the wrong format:
