No-shows and cancellations cost your salon money every month. This guide shows you how to see exactly how much — right from the home page.
When you log into Kitomba 1, it will load the scoreboard.
Scroll down to the Cancellations and no-shows dashboard. Here, you’ll find details about the impact of no-shows and cancellations and track performance over time.
Cancellations this month: Shows the number of appointments where the statuses have been set to cancelled.
No-shows this month: Shows the number of appointments where the statuses have been set to no-show.
Average cost per Cancellation/No-show: The average dollar value a cancellation/no-show costs per appointment.
Average daily downtime: This shows the average number of hours lost to cancellations/no-shows, including any appointments that were rebooked into other slots.
Below these metrics are a comparison to the previous month. Red means your losses have increased, and green means they are improving.
Estimated annual revenue loss
Review the estimated annual loss figure. It is calculated by the total revenue lost by the last 30 days multiplied by 12, projecting a figure across a full year to show the bigger picture.
The figures update with a short delay — data is refreshed approximately every 5 minutes.
Insights
Online bookings: Shows your online booking cancellation and no-show rate for the month.

Standard bookings: Shows your in-store booking cancellation and no-show rate and recommends the in-store deposit feature. Click the link in the tip to go to the in-store deposits settings page.
