To create an appointment
The Kitomba 1 Appointment Book makes adding new appointments from any device easy while giving flexibility to make appointments from anywhere. This streamlines the booking process, saving time and freeing up your front desk.
There are a couple of different ways to add new appointments. Follow the below and see which one works best for your business.
Option 1
1. Log into Kitomba 1 and select the Appointments tab.
2. Select the correct empty time slot and then select the New appointment here button. The red line indicates the current time.
3. If you are making an appointment for an existing client, enter their name in the search field and select the correct client.
4. If you are making an appointment for a new client, select Add a new client.
5. Enter the client’s name and contact details.
6. Select the services the client is having for this appointment. You can enter a service name into the search bar, or open your categories to find the services.
7. Make sure you’ve selected the correct services by checking the Selected services box. Press the red X to remove a service.
8. Select the Save button.
You will now see the appointment appear on the calendar.
Option 2
Expert tip: Clients often tell you their name and the services they’d like to book before you can find a suitable time. Kitomba 1 allows you to book this way so your client doesn’t need to repeat themselves by telling you their name again once you’ve found a suitable time.
Option 2 is the best way to support this style of booking.
1. Select the blue Add New button on the left bar, then select New appointment.
2. Search for an existing client or create a new one by selecting Add a new client.
3. Select the services the client wants to book and then select the Save button.
4. You will see the services appear in the Appointment summary on the left. Drag and drop the services onto the calendar once you’ve found a time that works.
You will now see the appointment appear on the calendar.
To request a staff member
1. Select the appointment in the calendar.
2. Select the Requested staff checkbox on the services the client would like that particular staff member to perform.
3. The R icon will now be displayed on those services in the calendar.
